Deysi López

A Latina entrepreneur of Mexican descent, Deysi Lopez began her entrepreneurial journey at a young age selling tamales and bread in her hometown, made by her grandmother (Mamá Nela). These are some of the products she fondly remembers. At times, she accompanied her mother, Mama Tere, to sell goods at various places, which served as an inspiration for her to become the owner of her own company, now with a presence across the United States.

What seemed impossible for this woman of Chiapaneco origin has become a reality – the American Dream transformed into a business venture that changed her life and the lives of many women who believed in her from the start. Deysi Lopez is grateful to those women who believed in her, but more importantly, in themselves and their ability to succeed even far from their home countries. Perseverance, discipline, and above all, HUMILITY have been her guiding principles.

Deysi Lopez arrived in the USA in 2015, starting out as a kitchen assistant. With outstanding performance and rapid advancement, she later ventured into a successful makeup page. However, sometimes life and GOD have different paths for us. Due to a facial accident, she had to abandon this project and began selling gold jewelry door-to-door, to neighbors, and in Mexican stores, tapping into the passion she has always had for sales.

Starting with a capital of US$1,500 and a winning attitude, as her business grew, she brought her son Luis on board, followed by her daughter Suleyma two years later to join her team. They began sales by placing merchandise on a small table in her room, and after much effort and perseverance, they have established a beautiful headquarters located at 217 E Maude Ave, Sunnyvale, California, with a team of 13 more individuals. “My family has been my inspiration; thanks to them, achieving this dream has been possible.” Her two children, Luis and Suleyma, now leaders and salespersons in her corporation, have set sail on this ship where they are the sails that pull the hardest to continue day by day, through storms and calm seas alike. It is the most precious legacy for little Ady (her granddaughter), who, despite not being close to her in this country, always keeps her in her heart.
